Battle 500 Tree Planting

Battle 500 and Elana Bader of Darroch Nurseries have a plan to create a lasting legacy for the commemoration of the Battle of Linlithgow Bridge.

West Lothian Council identified an area of land near the Xcite Leisure Centre where we can plant trees, as outlined on the map. It is to the north of the car park, next to, but separate from, an existing orchard. Trees will be planted here as a memorial to the battle, retaining the area for recreation. We do not envisage the need for fences, with enough space between the trees to walk dogs, have a picnic, run around and play.
